Sherry Pearce, of Raleigh, redeemed her RBC Rewards points for an all-access, VIP trip with her husband to Toronto with the Carolina Hurricanes to watch them play the Maple Leafs. Pearce says that she and her husband continue to be asked by friends and co-workers, “Who did you have to know to get an experience like that?”
She responds, “We didn’t have to know anyone special; we just used our RBC Rewards card for an RBC Exclusive Reward! We’ve used rewards cards before, but never were we offered such a unique experience. You can get air miles, hotel miles and department store miles with other cards, but I don’t know of another reward program that allows you to redeem your points to travel with a professional athletic team, on their private jet, stay in the same hotel, go behind the scenes in the arena, watch their practices and then have great seats at the game and fly home with the team! We have already told several friends of this program and how happy we are to be involved with such a great banking team.”
